Office chair recline: Pause HaloShort or return to the list?
A quick recline adjustment shouldn't send you back to the TV home screen. If HaloShort is playing, pause before adjusting the office chair; return to the list only if you want to choose a different show.
For mechanism adjustments, follow the whole-chair instructions
Recline mechanisms, chair legs, and gas cylinders vary by chair model, so follow the instructions for the specific chair rather than inferring how it works from a parts-series name.
The chair back's locking and video pausing also each have their own control entry points. Stop the story first, then handle the seat adjustment, so you're not trying to find a lever or knob while also trying to follow the dialogue on screen. There's no linkage here between seat actions and TV playback.
To stop the current picture, what you're looking for is pause
HaloShort supports pause, episode selection, and remote navigation. During playback, first check the current control interface to confirm how to pause and resume. The back button is usually for returning to the previous level — don't memorize its result on every page as "stopping playback."
Turning off autoplay also isn't responsible for immediately stopping the current episode. It governs whether to continue to the next episode after this one ends. When you need to free up your attention right away, pausing is still more direct.
If you've already exited, no need to reinstall the app
If you're still on the detail page, you can go back by episode number; if you're already back at the TV home screen, just re-enter HaloShort and find that content again. Local progress can provide clues, and remembering the title and episode number makes it easy to verify. If family members have continued watching, the record may have changed.
